After more than 300 years after its foundation Loreto is still a small community and a good reason for it is the scare of sources, especially fresh water, thus farming is still in small scale and in very few places, thus we will like to invite you to intentionally support our efforts to minimize the impact we leave in their culture and environment, remember that most of the areas you will be visiting in land and water are Natural Protected Areas and everyone wants to keep the species living in them safe from plastic or garbage.

Following you will find some of the efforts we propose:

Reusable Water Container

At Hotel Posada de las Flores Loreto we recommend our guest to bring the refillable drinking container for you days of fun and exploration and we will provide all the necessary drinking water. This will reduce the plastic waste and footprint.

Reusable Tote Bag

We recommend you to bring a reusable Tote Bag, this way you will not need to be provided with plastic bags when shopping in town and to take your belongings when going on day trips.

If needed we will facilitate a complementary Tote Bag at the front desk to use will staying at the hotel.

COVID-19

Your safety and peace of mind are our priority, Hotel Posada de las Flores Loeto is an Open-air layout common spaces with outdoor activities and dinning, we implement and observe all mandatory protocols, our staff is Up-to-date on the latest health and safety hygiene and Covid-19 protocols.

We provide on-site Covid testing for you convenience upon request (at an additional cost).

Reef Friendly Sunscreen

We greatly value the rich and abundant biodiversity of our Natural Protected Areas and Marine Parks and one way to protect it is by having our visitors use Reef friendly sunscreen, if you did not find one before arriving, we will have it available at the hotel (at an additional cost).

Passport and migratory documents

All traveler entering Mexico need to present a valid Passport upon arriving at the first point of entrance, every person entering the Country has to present an entry declaration form (csdf) that will be provided by the airline or at the point of entrance, a portion of this form will be given back to the traveler once entrance is granted, it is very important to keep this card as is will be mandatory to present upon leaving the Country.

Money & Currency

In Mexico the currency is the Peso and most all business or vendor will accept US dollars, credit and debit card are also accepted in most places mainly Visa or Master Card, be aware that not everyone takes American Express.

We also recommend to have some cash as there are some vendors that only take that form of payment. For your convenience across from Posada de las Flores Loreto is a bank where you can get cash or use the 24/7 ATM.
